Abstract

A trimmer trims a booklet by a fixed blade (50) and a movable blade (54). The movable blade (54) includes a main blade (74) that extends in a booklet conveying direction (X), and an accessory blade (76) for making a cut in a spine of the booklet, the accessory blade (76) being disposed at one end side of the main blade (74) and integrally moving with the main blade (74). A cutting edge (76a) of the accessory blade (76) is spaced apart from a cutting edge (74a) of the main blade (74), in a moving direction of the movable blade (54) moving with respect to the fixed blade (50).
