Abstract
Provided is a barrier film comprising a vapor deposition film formed on an OPP film substrate, the barrier film being capable of lowering barrier properties after heat sterilization treatment and achieving both Gelbo flex resistance and adhesion.There is provided a barrier film comprising a polypropylene base material provided with a base layer as an outermost layer, and a silicon oxide deposition film formed on the base layer, laminated in this order, wherein the silicon oxide deposition film has an intensity ratio P1 of 0.37 or more and 0.78 or less defined by the following equation when X-ray absorption fine structure analysis is performed from a surface opposite to the polypropylene base material side of the barrier film. P1 = (maximum intensity value from 1843.8 to 1845.2 eV)/(maximum intensity value from 1847.0 to 1849.4 eV)
