Abstract

A charging inlet (1) includes: an inlet body (2) disposed in a vehicle (200) and having an insertion port (21) into which a connector (310) for charging is inserted; a flexible annular cover (3) that covers the inlet body (2) in such a manner as to surround the inlet body (2), the flexible annular cover (3) having an opening (31) through which a connector (310) can pass; a drive mechanism (4) that rotates a cover (3) to move the position of the opening (31); and a control unit (50) that controls the drive mechanism (4).
