Abstract

A hose reel (210) for storing a hose (202) comprises a reel body (212) onto which the hose (202) is woundable. The reel body (212) comprises a central water axle (214) and an outer surface (216) having a surface radius (D1). The hose reel (210) further comprises at least one side disc (218) formed at one lateral end of the reel body (212), and a water connection (215) for connecting the hose (202) to the central water axle (214). The water connection (215) extends from the central water axle (214) and is positioned adjacent to the at least one side disc (218). The hose reel (210) is characterized in that the hose reel (210) comprises a hose guiding structure (220) formed on the side disc (218). The hose guiding structure (220) is configured to guide an end portion (203) of the hose next to the water connection (215), on a guiding distance (D2) and afterwards on the outer surface (216), with the guiding distance (D2) being larger than the surface radius (D1).
