Abstract
A lightweight aggregate according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is a granular body in which protrusions having an average diameter of less than 3.0 mm are scattered on a surface thereof and the arithmetic average roughness Ra of the surface excluding the protrusions falls within the range of 10 µm to 100 µm, and the density of which falls within the range of 0.9 g/cm<3> to 1.3 g/cm<3>.
