Abstract
The present invention provides a zirconia pre-sintered body that can yield a zirconia sintered body with excellent mechanical strength and translucency, and a method for producing such a zirconia pre-sintered body. The present invention relates to a zirconia pre-sintered body comprising zirconia, and a stabilizer capable of preventing a phase transformation of zirconia, wherein the zirconia comprises monoclinic zirconia, and the width at half maximum of the main peak derived from the monoclinic zirconia in a powder X-ray diffraction pattern based on CuKα radiation is 0.18° or more.
