Abstract

The present invention relates to a polyester-based oriented film, a manufacturing method thereof, and an article formed therefrom. The polyester-based oriented film comprises a copolymerized polyester resin obtained by the copolymerization of a diol component and a dicarboxylic acid component, and exhibits a tear index of less than 2.5. The polyester-based oriented film according to the present invention can be useful as a heat shrinkable film applied as packaging and/or a label of a plastic container. In particular, the polyester-based oriented film is excellent in terms of heat shrinkage, tear index, and tearing properties and thus does not undergo deformation when applied to a container, and can be removed evenly and cleanly along a removal line when separated from the container. Therefore, the polyester-based oriented film enables articles such as packaging and labels of high quality, and can improve recycling process efficiency.
