Abstract
The present invention relates to a granular laundry composition comprising a surfactant and dipicolinic acid. The composition comprises a first particle, characterized in that the first particle comprises the surfactant and the dipicolinic acid. The present invention also relates to a consumer product comprising a package and the present composition. The composition is contained in one the compartment of the package. The present composition can be used for laundering fabrics, in soft and hard water. The present composition can be produced by: mixing dipicolinic acid, a surfactant and water to create a slurry; and drying the slurry to obtain a first particle.
