Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a heat-treatment-free die-cast aluminum alloy, an article prepared therefrom and a manufacturing method therefor. In addition to Al and inevitable impurity elements, the die-cast aluminum alloy comprises the following chemical components in percentage by mass: 6.5-9.5% of Si, 0.1-0.3% of Fe, 0.4-0.85% of Mn, 0.1-0.6% of Mg, 0.02-0.12% of Ti and 0.05-0.15% of Sb; and satisfies the following formulas: Fe+Mn ≥ 0.65%; and Mn/Fe = 2.0-6.6, wherein each element symbol is substituted with the content of the corresponding element in percentage by mass. The disclosure enables the alloy die-cast part to obtain a microstructure without obvious porosity and shrinkage defects throughout the interior, thereby ensuring a tensile strength of greater than 200 MPa, a yield strength of greater than 120 MPa, and an elongation of greater than 10% at various portions of the part.
