Abstract
A gas turbine engine article includes a ceramic matrix composite (CMC) wall (75) that has an exterior core gaspath surface and a blind hole (75a). A monolithic ceramic repair element (78) is attached with the CMC wall. The repair element includes a repair element surface that is substantially flush with the at least one exterior core gaspath surface. The ceramic repair element includes a through-hole (78a) aligned with the blind hole. A fastener (82) extends through the through-hole and into the blind hole and secures the repair element with the CMC wall.
