Abstract

A gas turbine engine (10), comprising: a compressor section (12), a combustion section (14), and a turbine section (16), with the combustion section (14) including: a flow turning combustor (30) comprising: a combustor liner (40) that at least partially defines a combustion chamber (50) including: a combustor inlet (100) having an inlet height (110), a combustor outlet (102) having an outlet height (112) and fluidly coupled with the turbine section (16); a primary section (104) extending from the combustor inlet (100) and including a primary length (114); and a transition section (106) extending from the primary section (104) to the combustor outlet (102) and defining a turn (130); a hydrogen fuel supply (34); and a fuel nozzle assembly (48) fluidly coupled with the hydrogen fuel supply (34) and the combustor inlet (100).
