Abstract

According to an example embodiment, a method (200) for operating a measurement assembly for a time-of-flight (ToF) measurement is provided, the method comprising: transmitting (202) a pulsed acoustic measurement signal from a first resonant transducer assembly (110) of the measurement assembly (100), where during each pulse the first resonant transducer assembly (110) is driven at a predefined driving frequency; receiving (204) an electrical reconstructed signal generated by a second resonant transducer assembly (120) of the measurement assembly (100) based on the acoustic measurement signal transmitted from the first resonant transducer assembly (110); detecting (206) a change in frequency within a pulse of the electrical reconstructed signal, and adjusting (208) at least one aspect of operation of the measurement assembly (100) based on the detected change in frequency.
