Abstract
According to some embodiments, a battery management device includes an interface configured to acquire battery data of a battery having a composite negative electrode based on a first active material of a silicon series and a second active material of a graphite series, and a controller configured to calculate a first negative electrode loading of the first active material for the composite negative electrode and a second negative electrode loading of the second active material for the composite negative electrode based on the battery data, and diagnose a state of the composite negative electrode based on the first negative electrode loading and the second negative electrode loading.
