Abstract
A digital twin of an operational area (110) is created. Information pertaining to an initial position and a target position of a vehicle (102, 202, 302, 402a-c) is received. Routing information of the vehicle is determined. The routing information and the digital twin are sent to an operator unit (106). The vehicle is navigated based on command(s) received from the operator unit. A safety zone (114) for the vehicle is determined. Information pertaining to a network latency in a communication network (112) is obtained. It is detected when a change in the network latency exceeds a predetermined threshold latency. When this happens, a size of the safety zone is increased. It is detected when a position of an object (116) present in the operational area lies within the safety zone. When this happen, a speed of the vehicle is decreased.
