Abstract
A data transmission device comprising: a transmitter that transmits data; a storage that stores a transmission destination of the data; and one or more controllers that control encryption of the data, wherein the storage stores encryption setting for encrypting the data in association with the transmission destination, and the one or more controllers receive an editing instruction for the encryption setting according to whether or not the encryption setting is applicable to the data, and transmit encrypted data to the transmission destination via the transmitter.
