Abstract

The present invention relates to a device, system and method for performing comparable measurements of a target object in medical images. The device comprises an input unit configured to obtain a first image and a second image of the target object, the first image comprising a first coordinate system; a processing unit configured to perform elastic registration to map the first image, including the first coordinate system, to the second image, and to extract a slice from the second image based on the mapped first coordinate system; and an output unit configured to provide information about the extracted slice to a display unit for displaying the slice to a user for comparable measurement of the target object.
