Abstract

An information processing apparatus installed in a vehicle includes: a data storage control unit 334 configured to cause a vehicle storage unit 32 to store consent period information regarding a period in which a user of the vehicle consented to providing data acquired in the vehicle to outside; and a transmission control unit 335 configured to control transmission of data acquired previously in the vehicle to an external apparatus 5 based on whether or not the user consented to providing data to outside at a time of acquiring the data with reference to the consent period information.
