Abstract
A method of predicting the probability of fracture toughness failure of a metallic part. The method includes receiving static mechanical property data for a metallic part. The method further includes determining a predicted probability of fracture toughness failure for the metallic part using a selected statistical model. The method further includes flagging, to perform fracture toughness testing, the metallic part based on the predicted probability of fracture toughness failure being over a threshold.
