Abstract

A sensor (130) for an electrical protective device (210) has a printed circuit board assembly (142) mounted on a housing (138) that encloses a current transformer. The printed circuit board assembly (142) has on-board sensor electronics thereon for receiving a current signal from the current transformer. The sensor electronics are configured to detect a condition in one or more primary windings (150) based on the current signal and to generate a signal representative of the detected condition.
