Abstract
The present invention relates to a battery holder (10) configured for holding and electrically contacting a battery (32). The battery holder (10) comprises a battery chamber (12) configured to receive the battery (32) and having a longitudinal axis; a first electric contact (14) arranged at a first end portion of the battery chamber (12) and configured to electrically contact a first electric terminal (34) of the battery (32), wherein the first electric contact (14) is configured as a scrape contact to electrically contact a circumferential contact surface of a metal pin (36) of a first electric terminal (34) of the battery (32) at two mutually opposite positions on said circumferential contact surface; and a second electric contact (16) arranged at a second end portion of the battery chamber (12) opposite the first end portion and configured to electrically contact a second electric terminal (38) of the battery (32), wherein the second electric contact (16) is configured as a spring contact to electrically contact a metal contact surface of the second electric terminal (38) of the battery (32) by spring force of the spring contact acting in an axial direction parallel to the longitudinal axis of the battery chamber.
