Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a secondary battery including an electrode assembly; an electrode tab electrically connected to the electrode assembly and bent to be in close contact with an end of the electrode assembly; a pouch provided to surround a perimeter of the electrode assembly; an electrode lead including a first lead portion electrically connected to the electrode tab and accommodated inside the pouch to be stacked on the electrode tab, and a second lead portion having one end connected to the first lead portion and the other end exposed to the outside of the pouch; and a protector provided to surround an edge of the first lead portion, thereby obtaining the advantageous effect of minimizing damage to a pouch and improving stability and reliability.
