Abstract

In a stator (1) of the present disclosure, on a side of a first end of a stator core (2), each two of leg portions that protrude from a 2·i-th layer of one of a first slot (21) and a second slot (22) spaced five slots apart that lies on one side in a circumferential direction and from a 2·i-1-th layer of the other one are joined together at leading end portions, and each two of leg portions that protrude from a 2·i-th layer of one of a first slot (21) and a second slot (22) spaced five slots apart that lies on the one side in the circumferential direction and from a 2·i+1-th layer of the other one are joined together at leading end portions such that a winding end portion of the 2·i-th layer and the winding start portion of the 2·i+1-th layer are connected to each other.
