Abstract

A vehicle drive device includes: a rotating electric machine that has a tubular rotor shaft connected to a rotor so as to rotate integrally therewith; a drive transmission mechanism provided on a power transmission path connecting the rotor shaft and a wheel, and having an input shaft coupled to the rotor shaft; and a housing accommodating the rotating electric machine and the drive transmission mechanism. The rotor shaft is supported by the housing with a first ball bearing having a first inner ring and a first outer ring interposed between the rotor shaft and the housing. The input shaft is supported by the housing with a second ball bearing having a second inner ring and a second outer ring interposed between the input shaft and the housing. An elastic member is disposed between the first ball bearing and the second ball bearing adjacent to each other in an axial direction of the rotor shaft and the input shaft, the elastic member biasing the first ball bearing and the second ball bearing in a direction of separating the first ball bearing and the second ball bearing from each other.
