Abstract
Methods are described for a wireless device to select a cell for registration. Information, shared with the wireless device, may provide details the wireless device may use to select a cell for registration. The information may provide the wireless device with details on which access technologies are available or unavailable, which are restricted or allowed, and/or which frequencies are available and/or their priority of use. Using the provided information, the wireless device may determine possible cells for selection, and based on measurements of the possible cells, the wireless device may select a cell for registration.
