Abstract

An electroluminescent device, a method for manufacturing the device, and a display device. The electroluminescent device includes a first electrode and a second electrode, an emission layer that includes semiconductor nanoparticles disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode, and a hole auxiliary layer between the emission layer and the first electrode. The hole auxiliary layer includes a hole injection/transport material and a base quencher, and the base quencher includes an alkali metal hydroxide, an ammonium hydroxide compound, an amine compound, or a combination thereof.
