Abstract
A system (2) for capturing an image of an abdominal interior (8) of a gutted fish (4) is disclosed. As referred to herein, an abdominal interior (8) of a gutted fish (4) is the interior of the abdominal cavity of the gutted fish (4). The system (2) comprises a ventral flap separator system (6) that is configured to separate ventral flaps (12a, 12b) of the fish (4) herewith exposing the abdominal interior (8) of the gutted fish (4). The system (2) also comprises an imaging system (14) that is configured to capture an image of the exposed abdominal interior (8). Further, the imaging system (14) comprises a line-scan camera.
