Abstract

The present invention relates to an orthodontic bracket system adapted to minimize forces of resistance, enhance treatment efficiency, and reduce overall treatment duration. The bracket may comprise three tie wings, with two positioned coronally and one gingivally at approximately the midpoint between them. The tie wings' slot portions are rounded to reduce friction, binding, and notching. The bracket slot base may comprise two semicylindrical prominences, aiming at reducing the contact area between the archwire and the slot. The orthodontic system is compatible with various orthodontic materials, including but not limited to stainless steel, titanium, ceramics, and medical-grade polymers.
