Abstract
An oral receptacle (10) having a receptacle body (12). The receptacle body (12) contains an effervescent means (14) comprising an acid (16) and a carbonate (18) and a medicinal and/or psychoactive component (20) for producing a medicinal and/or psychoactive effect on a user, wherein the receptacle body (12) is configured so that when the receptacle body (12) is received in the user's mouth, the effervescent means (14) forms a foam which distributes the medicinal and/or psychoactive component (20).
