Abstract

A rotary table device (1) includes: a rotary table (2) including a table surface (20) and a recess (21); a frame (4) configured to rotatably support the rotary table (2) from its back side; a clamp unit (5) fixedly disposed within the recess of the rotary table; a shaft (3) attached to the frame and configured to supply fluid to the clamp unit; a power transmission fluid passage (38) extending from the shaft through the rotary table to the inside of the clamp unit, and configured to pass fluid for clamping or unclamping the workpiece holder by a clamp mechanism; and a seal mechanism (25) configured to seal a gap between an inner wall surface of the recess of the rotary table and an outer wall surface of the clamp unit.
