Abstract

Aspects of the present invention relate to a vehicle sub-assembly comprising a cover assembly and a bonnet. The cover assembly is attached to and at least partially overlaps a portion of the bonnet. The cover assembly comprises a grating and a panel. The grating comprises a plurality of spaced bars that extend in a first direction above an upper surface of the panel, and a rib coupling the bars together. The rib extends below a lower surface of the bars and is arranged so that an upper surface of the rib is disposed flush with or below the upper surface of the panel.
