Abstract

A power conversion unit (100) performing power conversion for a vehicle drive device (TA) including a rotary electrical machine (M) being a drive source of a vehicle (V) includes: a power conversion circuit (1) including at least one of an inverter circuit (11) performing conversion between DC power and AC power between the rotary electrical machine (M) and an in-vehicle power storage device (B), a DC voltage conversion circuit (12) performing voltage conversion of DC power of the in-vehicle power storage device (B), and a charging circuit (13) supplying power of an external power supply (PS) to the in-vehicle power storage device (B) to charge the in-vehicle power storage device (B); a cooling device (2) cooling the power conversion circuit (1); and a case (3) accommodating the power conversion circuit (1) and the cooling device (2). A driving support arithmetic processing device (4) performing arithmetic processing for supporting driving of the vehicle (V) is disposed in the case (3). The driving support arithmetic processing device (4) is cooled by the cooling device (2).
