Abstract

A blade pitch angle changing mechanism (30) includes a control rod (56) movable in an axial direction of a rotating body (41) that rotates a propeller (24) provided in a flying object (10), and a crosshead (58) that can change a pitch angle of a blade (34) provided in the propeller (24) by moving in the axial direction in accordance with movement of the control rod (56). A pitch angle invariable section in which the pitch angle is not changed is set in a part of a movable range of the control rod (56).
