Abstract
A packaging member (1) is formed by bending a single sheet material and includes a bottom plate portion (11), a first side wall portion (13), a second side wall portion (14), a top plate portion (12), and a support plate portion (21). The support plate portion (21) is connected to an end of the top plate portion (12) near the first side wall portion (13) in a second direction (D2) and is bent from the top plate portion (12) so as to be folded vertically downward toward the bottom plate portion (11), with a distal end thereof abutting against the article (P) to be packaged. The top plate portion (12) is bent along a first folding line (13b, 13c). The support plate portion (21) is bent from the top plate portion (12) along a second folding line (13a). The support plate portion (21) is positioned on an inner side relative to the first side wall portion (13) in the second direction (D2).
