Abstract

There is disclosed herein an insert (1) for a bottle (2). The bottle comprises a neck (3) with a mouth (4) and an annular protrusion (5) arranged proximal to the mouth on an outside surface (3a) of the neck so as to form an annular groove (6) distal to the mouth. The insert comprises a fitment portion (10) configured to be fitted inside the neck of the bottle. The fitment portion comprises a skirt (12). The insert further comprises a tamper ring (20) connected to the skirt of the fitment portion through a plurality of connecting pins (30). The tamper ring comprises one or more protrusions (22) that is structured and arranged to be non-removably snap-fitted into the annular groove of the bottle when inserting the fitment portion into the neck of the bottle. The disclosure further relates to a cap system (100), an arrangement (200) and a method (300).
