Abstract

A sheet conveying device includes a frame; a conveying roller unit (200) that includes a rotation shaft (201) that is rotatable, a roller (202) that contacts a sheet, and a bearing (203) that is electrically conductive and that rotatably supports the rotation shaft (201); and a bearing holder (400) that, by being attached to the bearing (203), fixes the conveying roller unit (200) to the frame. In the sheet conveying device, the bearing holder (400) includes a first member (401) that is made of an electrically nonconductive resin and a second member (402) that is made of an electrically conductive resin, and the second member (402) contacts the bearing (203) and the frame.
