Abstract
Disclosed is a miRNA panel that can be used as a prognostic marker and related methods and kits for diagnosing the risk of suffering from, the presence or absence and degree of development or severity of myxomatous mitral valve disease in dogs, by evaluating the expression levels of specific miRNAs.
