Abstract

The present invention relates to a panel (1) for a safe or a strongroom comprising a matrix (2) and a first element (5) embedded in the matrix (2), the panel (1) being characterized in that it further comprises a second element (6) embedded in the matrix (2), the second element (6) being different from the first element (5), and the second element (6) being made of a polymer material. This panel (1) reduces the weight of the safe and simultaneously increases its resistance to unauthorized access with methods such as a core drill and a thermal lance. Another object of the invention relates to a manufacturing method for manufacturing a panel (1) for a safe or a strongroom which ensures a good finish on all the faces thereof.
