Abstract

A frame assembly (1) intended to be installed in an opening formed in a building and delimited by one or more floor portions (G) and/or one or more ceiling portions (G), which assembly comprises: at least one sliding door (2) intended to slide along a predetermined sliding direction (S), provided with at least one lower edge portion (3) intended to be directed towards the floor (G) and an upper edge portion (4) intended to be directed towards the ceiling (G); at least a first frame (5) intended to be positioned at the opening below the lower edge portion (4) and/or above the upper edge portion (4) of the sliding door (2); guide means (6) associated with the sliding door (2) and the first frame (5) to allow the selective sliding of the door (2) along the predetermined sliding direction (S). The first frame (5) comprises an end seat (8) facing towards the lower edge portion (4) and/or said upper edge portion (4) of the sliding door (2); said end seat (8) is suitable for housing floor portions (G) and/or ceiling portions (G) so as to allow the positioning of a first frame (5) completely below the floor (G) and/or completely above the ceiling (G).
