Abstract

The present invention relates to a fan motor including a housing, an impeller, a motor, and a guide vane which is disposed on the one side of the impeller and allows air discharged from the impeller to flow therein, wherein the guide vane includes an inner member disposed to surround the motor and having a motor accommodation space therein, an outer member disposed to be spaced apart from the inner member with a space interposed therebetween and coupled to the housing, and a plurality of vanes disposed between the inner member and the outer member, the inner member has at least one slit which allows the motor accommodation space to communicate with spaces in which the vanes are disposed, thereby providing a heat dissipation structure.
