Abstract

Provided is a roller-cage assembly that includes a plurality of rollers, a cage (2) in which the rollers are retained, and a roller retainer claw (6). The cage (2) includes a pair of ring members (4) facing axial opposite ends of each of the rollers and a plurality of bars (5) which are provided at circumferential uniform intervals in such a way to bridge outer diameter areas of the pair of ring members (4) and between which the rollers are received. A ratio of the cage radial chamfer length (B) to the cage thickness (A) satisfies a relation: 0 < B/A ≤ 1.6. The roller retainer claw (6) is provided on an inner diameter portion of each of the ring members (4) to prevent the rollers from slipping through to an inner diameter side of the cage.
