Abstract

There is provided a bidirectional support assembly (10) for bidirectional support of a vibratory device (20), the assembly (10) comprising a connector (45) for cooperating with the vibratory device (20); a primary support arrangement (4, 42, 42', 44) comprising one or more primary spring element(s) (42, 42) configured to be compressed in response to downward displacement of the connector (45) for supporting the connector (45) in an upwards directed first support direction (D1); a secondary support arrangement (6, 62, 62', 63, 63', 64, 64') comprising one or more secondary spring element(s) (61, 62) configured to be compressed in response to upward displacement of the connector (45) for supporting the connector (45) in a second support direction (D2) that is opposite the first support direction (D1).
