Abstract

A tripod support device includes a pivot seat unit (1), three support rods (201), each pivotably extending through the pivot seat unit (1) at a pivot portion to terminate at upper and lower end portions (22, 23). The upper end portions cooperatively define a carrying surface (S) when the support rods is in an unfolded state. A synchronizing seat (31) is disposed among the support rods (201) and movable relative to the pivot seat unit (1) along a central axis (L), and has a hub (301) and three linking protrusions (302). Three lower linking bars (34) are pivotably connected with the linking protrusions (302) and lower pivot portions (24) of the support rods (201) to turn the support rods (201) during movement of the synchronizing seat (31). In the unfolded state, the lengthwise axis (X1) of each lower linking bar (34) is offset from the central axis (L).
