Abstract

A monitoring device (100) includes an acquisition unit (121) that acquires an intensity of a signal that has been received by a motion sensor that is provided in an interior of a vehicle, and the coordinates of a moving object that has been specified based on information that has been detected by the motion sensor, and a determination unit (122) that determines that the moving object is an object that is not to be detected in a case where a standard deviation of the intensity of the signal acquired by the acquisition unit (121) is less than a threshold, and also, in a case where a standard deviation of a movement distance is less than a threshold.
