Abstract

A drum unit 8 applicable to an image forming apparatus 500 includes a photosensitive drum 4 rotatable and constituted so as to carry toner, a cleaning container 15 for rotatably supporting the photosensitive drum 4, and an end portion seal 300 for sealing a gap between an end portion of the photosensitive drum 4 in a longitudinal direction of the photosensitive drum 4 and the cleaning container 15, wherein the end portion seal 300 includes a fiber surface layer 401 rubbing the photosensitive drum 4, and wherein the fiber surface layer 401 contains a lubricant containing fiber yarn 404 to which particles of a solid lubricant are fixed.
