Abstract

An image forming apparatus (1) includes an apparatus body, a first station (X4), second multiple stations (X1, X2, X3), a first image former (10K), second multiple image formers (10Y, 10M, 10C), a first air supply port (C4), second multiple air supply ports (C1, C2, C3), a first exhaust port (D4), second multiple exhaust ports (D1, D2, D3), an exhaust duct (42), and a sealer (51Y, 51M, 51C). The second multiple air supply ports (C1, C2, C3) supply air to the second multiple stations (X1, X2, X3), and the supplied air is exhausted from the second multiple stations (X1, X2, X3). The sealer (51Y, 51M, 51C) seals the second multiple exhaust ports (D1, D2, D3) when the second multiple image formers (10Y, 10M, 10C) are detached from respective stations. The sealer (51Y, 51M, 51C) includes a restrictor (51b) to restrict an attachment of the second multiple image formers (10Y, 10M, 10C).
