Abstract

Method for inspecting a static induction device, the method comprising: - flying autonomously an unmanned aerial vehicle to follow a path defined by at least one first marker placed in a horizontal two-dimensional plane, wherein the horizontal two-dimensional plane is parallel to a ground or is the ground and wherein the path of the UAV is displaced in a vertical direction from the horizontal two-dimensional plane - executing by the UAV, at each of a plurality of two-dimensional positions defined by a set of second markers placed in the horizontal two-dimensional plane, corresponding predefined instructions, the corresponding predefined instructions comprising creating a recording of the static induction device and comprising at least one of: moving to a predefined vertical distance in a direction perpendicular to the horizontal two-dimensional plane or rotating at an angle around an axis of the vertical direction.
