Abstract

A control system controls a vehicle capable of running by unmanned driving, and comprises: an acquisition unit that acquires step information about a particular step that is a step among steps present on a running route of the vehicle and determined in advance as a step which the vehicle is not to mount; a detection unit that detects the presence of the particular step at a destination of travel of the vehicle by using the step information; and a controller that controls the vehicle in such a way as to reduce a likelihood of the vehicle mounting the particular step if the detection unit detects the presence of the particular step at a destination of travel of the vehicle.
