Abstract

A foot shape model presentation apparatus 60 includes an acquirer 64, a reference storer 68, an extractor 66, a generator 70, and a presenter 72. The acquirer 64 acquires an image of a foot shape of a user 10. The reference storer 68 stores a reference model that is a three-dimensional model obtained by averaging foot shapes. The extractor 66 extracts shape information indicating a feature of a predetermined portion of the foot shape of the user 10 from the image. The generator 70 generates an individual shape model that is a three-dimensional model reproducing the foot shape of the user 10 by deforming, based on the shape information, a shape of a portion corresponding to the predetermined portion in the reference model. The presenter 72 visualizes the individual shape model and presents the individual shape model to the user 10.
