Abstract

The present invention relates to a sulfide solid electrolyte including a crystal phase and a glass phase. The glass phase includes a phase formed of a sulfide-based glass containing Li, P, and S as constituent elements, and the crystal phase includes a highly ion-conductive crystal phase derived from the sulfide-based glass and a crystal phase of β-Li<3>PS<4>. The composition of the highly ion-conductive crystal phase satisfies 30-50 at% of Li, 5-15 at% of P, and 30-60 at% of S. The content percentage of the crystal phase of the β-Li<3>PS<4> in the sulfide solid electrolyte is 0.1-30 mass%.
