Abstract
The present invention relates to a positive electrode (10), a method for producing the positive electrode (10), and a rechargeable lithium battery (100) including the positive electrode (10). The positive electrode (10) includes a positive electrode current collector, a first positive electrode active material layer on the positive electrode current collector, and a second positive electrode active material layer on the first positive electrode active material layer. The first positive electrode active material layer includes a first binder, and the second positive electrode active material layer includes a second binder. The first binder includes a rubber-based binder, and the second binder includes a styrene-acrylic rubber . A thickness ratio of the first positive electrode active material layer to the second positive electrode active material layer is in a range of about 13:7 to about 19:1.
